Absolutely. Most people are used to receiving simple PIN codes and one-time passwords that don’t have any other personal details. But if you want to add personalization and make it a branded experience, it’s easy.

Technically, you don’t need to collect permissions for verification codes and one-time passwords. But it’s always best practice to let your users know that you’ll send a message to their phone. We advise our customers to gather consent during the sign-up process, and to make it clear how you’ll use the user’s phone number.
