About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join Messente. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in finance, economics, or accounting and eager to grow in a supportive environment.

No prior working experience is required.

Location: Flexible – work from anywhere in Estonia (Tallinn & Tartu offices available)

Type: Part-time (0.5 FTE). This is a fixed-term contract from October 2025 to April 2026.

What will you be doing?

    • Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and financial operations.

    • Support the preparation of reports, reconciliations, and documentation.

    • Learn and apply accounting principles in practice under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

    • Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and other colleagues across departments.

     

You’ll be thriving in this role if you:

  • Education: Currently pursuing education or recently graduated in economics, finance, or accounting.
    • Languages: Fluent in Estonian and English, both written and spoken.
    • Technical skills: Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel). Previous experience with accounting software (e.g., Merit Aktiva) is a plus.
    • Personal qualities: Accuracy, reliability, tolerance for routine, analytical thinking, responsibility, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
