About the role
At 25M ARR, Messente is at the stage where every deal you close is visible to the whole company and shapes where we go next. This is not a role where you are one of fifty AEs running the same playbook. You will work directly with Marcus, our Head of Revenue, running mid-market and enterprise deals from the first qualified conversation through to signed contract.Leads come to you from inbound, our SDR team, and partnership channels. Your job starts at discovery, not cold outreach. You will not be handed a book of business to manage either. Once a deal is signed, our Onboarding Manager takes the lead on implementation, so your energy stays where it belongs: in active deals. You will re-engage at key commercial moments (renewals, upsells), but you are not a relationship babysitter.
We sell an enterprise-grade business messaging platform (SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, and OTP infrastructure) to financial services companies, logistics operators, and SaaS builders globally. The deals are technical, the buyers are sophisticated, and the sales cycles reward people who can genuinely understand a customer's problem and build a case around solving it.

We're expecting to fill the position as soon as possible.
What will you be doing?
- Pick up qualified leads from inbound, SDRs, and partners and run the full sales cycle: discovery, business case development, multi-stakeholder navigation, and close
- Work mid-market and enterprise deals with ACVs typically in the 100K-1M EUR range
- Conduct structured discovery to surface real pain, build compelling problem statements, and map them to Messente's platform
- Multi-thread deals by engaging champions, economic buyers, and technical evaluators in parallel, not sequentially
- Create and deliver polished presentations and proposals tailored to each stakeholder's context and priorities
- Handle objections with substance by understanding the underlying concern, not just the surface complaint
- Hand off signed customers cleanly to the Onboarding Manager, and re-engage at key commercial moments (renewals, upsells)
