    Because they operate in so many markets, Onde has to constantly balance messaging affordability with channel popularity.

    • In some countries, WhatsApp or Viber are more widely used and trusted
    • Every country is different, so the strategy for each one needs to be unique
    • In other countries, WhatsApp or Viber might be too expensive, so Onde needs a reliable SMS delivery system
    Onde had previously worked with Twilio, but felt frustrated with a very standard (and expensive) customer service model.

    The solution: Messente’s Verigator product

    Onde decided to try Messente’s Verigator product to build a market-to-market business messaging strategy.

    As a pre-registered OTP sender, Verigator is a tool that lets customers send simple OTPs to any country in a matter of hours (even the ones that usually require local representation).

    After the onboarding, Onde was connected with a Messente account manager via a shared Slack channel.
    We built a country-by-country strategy for Onde. 

    Our account managers and Onde’s team worked together to find the best strategy for every country of operation.

    • We found the most cost-effective channel for each country
    • We programmed Verigator to follow specific fallback options in case the preferred channel can’t be reached
    • Account managers are constantly monitoring the market to see if any part of the strategy needs to change
